![]() ![]() And I'm not just talking about figuring out when to post or how often. Now it’s time to get posting, reposting and selecting your all important hashtags. If you're a budding Instagram influencer or just want to have an Instagram aesthetic that you love, planning your Instagram grid is super important. We hope you've learned something new today that you can apply to your Instagram grid. ![]() And take it from us, using planning tools and batch producing your content will make your life a whole lot easier. Remember, your instagram grid is what makes your first impression, so make it count. Whether you're creating a checkerboard layout, a column layout or a rows layout, keep your photos consistent to your theme so no photos feel out of place. So there you have it, our guide to a strategic approach to your Instagram grid layout so that when your audience lands on your profile, they see your stunning visual masterpiece and hit that follow button. In addition to making sure your content fits your grid, batch production will also ensure you have enough to be publishing once a day, or in line with the post frequency that you set. It will save you time, effort, and ensure your content is on point! The Instagram algorithm rewards consistent posting, as does your audience. ![]() Whether you’re alternating between quotes and lifestyle images, or landscape and product shots, the tiles will create a stylish look for anyone landing on your profile. Checkerboard layoutĪ checkerboard layout is where we alternate between two complimenting or contrasting posts. The block nature of the grid means that with no real overarching strategy – even if your individual posts stand out in the Instagram feed – you’re missing a key element to attracting followers and audiences.By adopting a sequenced approach to posting, we can make our grids stand out and encourage our profile visitors to hit that follow button! There are three common approaches you can employ to achieve this visual masterpiece. Find an Instagram grid layout to match your style On a side-note, understanding your themes will also help you craft killer Instagram bios which helps to hook your audience and will also affect your potential for driving on-platform traffic to your website or the landing page of your choice. You may want to commit to certain photographic techniques – lay-flat, symmetrical – as well as any filters or colour schemes you use to make your images pop. Having consistent themes does not mean you post the exact same photos each day, but rather you keep on topic and style. Like magazines, Instagram profiles tell a story over time. what value do they get? Treat your Instagram profile like a magazine – I’m not saying to have pictures of Brad and Angelina in every post or talk about what new diet is going gangbusters in Hollywood – but consider which of your content themes (or pillars) are best matched to Instagram. They’re going to follow you because of your awesome Instagram theme or themes– i.e. ![]() Whilst our individual posts need to be smashing, an Instagram user isn’t going to follow you because of one single post. People don’t follow posts, they follow accounts. With that being said, let’s get started on your Instagram grid layout! Start with a creative theme For social media marketers, this means that we don’t just need to think strategically about our individual posts, but also how they are visually displayed on our profile in the form of a grid. ![]() ![]() ![]() In 2015, she married actor Johnny Depp, and the two divorced in 2017. Nicolas Cage and Amber Heard talk about the challenges of making the movie. Is the 3D enough to make “Drive Angry” worthy of your film dollars? We could ask audiences, but apparently there weren’t any. But frankly, who cares? This film is all about stylistic kills, and there are plenty of ’em. Of course, that’s followed by a tire iron, barrages of bullets, multiple knee blowouts, and at least one baseball bat through the eye. Right from the get-go, there are some pretty evil 3D images. Closely related to the E60 M5’s V10, it was lovely and rightly regarded as brilliant. The 4.0-litre V8 spun out a massive 309kW (420PS) at a stratospheric 8300rpm. Then came the E90 V8-powered machine with its carbon fibre roof, twin-clutch transmission to go alongside the manual and, oh, that noise. That was closely followed by a less hardcore M3 CS. ![]() Lighter (by a massive 110kg), harder and completely bonkers, there was a lot of the unruly E30 in it (yes, I have driven that, and may yet do so again…). The E46 also spawned the instant classic – the M3 CSL. The SMG still wasn’t that good or popular, but hey, BMW had to start somewhere. The E46’s inline six delivered 252kW (338PS) and 365Nm. Sticking with the straight six, it got heavier again but more powerful. It’s safe to say that this was not a popular move. The E36 is also famous for the introduction of the SMG single-clutch semi-automatic. The upgrade in 1996 that also brought the six-speed manual also offered a consoling 15Nm of torque, rising to 320Nm. Weirdly, the US and Canada had different engines to the European M3s, soldiering on with the 179kW (243PS) S52. That brought the car to life in a big way. Another reason for that was the power jump to 239kW (325PS). Thankfully, in 1996, a six-speed arrived along with extra torque with the move to 3.2-litres. But with that extra gear, it became a more flexible, more impressive car. ![]() That car was famous for top gear having a 1.0 ratio – that’s third gear on most cars from the time. Initially a controversial machine, the first version had a five-speed manual paired with a 3.0-litre in-line six. ![]() Hugely popular, it sold from 1992 to 1999. It was a very different car to the E30 – heavier, more luxurious, a bit more mainstream. The second M3 was the straight-six powered E36. The M3 world rages over which is the best. As the years went by, power went up from 143kW (195PS) to 160kW (220PS) in the EVO2 and finally, for a limited run, the 175kW (238PS) 2.5-litre EVO3. Powered by a four-cylinder engine from BMW Motorsport, the first M3 makes people who haven’t even driven it dewy-eyed. ![]() The first M3 was the two-door E30, a completely bonkers, benchmark-defining sports sedan. And it might be to do with all of the above. It’s difficult to say exactly what it is. Not just the revs – a lack of revs has become a fact of life – but something I’ve come to call “the spark” because I can’t really define it. Still do, but I will concede that there is a tiny something missing, something the V8 M3 had and the E46 M3 six before. The steering isn’t great, the turbo straight-six isn’t the V8 (oh, der), it’s heavy. There wasn’t a lot wrong with the new M4, but there were (and continue to be) complaints. And it looked amazing in the right colour and with the right wheels. High revving, naturally-aspirated and if you chose, a bit of luxury. The M4 replaced the V8 M3 Coupe which was a cracker of a car. Some years ago, BMW released the M4, which replaced the M3, which itself was replaced by the sedan-only M3. I need to take you on a little journey here. ![]() ![]() ![]() One channel instead of three and 28x28 instead of 32x32: Minor modifications to account for the fact that the images are now We’ll define a similar model architecture from that tutorial, making only imshow ( npimg, cmap = "Greys" ) else : plt. mean ( dim = 0 ) img = img / 2 + 0.5 # unnormalize npimg = img. I didn't have to resize the images, Premiere must have done that automatically. I got it to work but I've got to do a few more to do a good job. One warning is that the computer has to do a lot of processing for this to work. If you don't like what you see, abandon the project and start a new one with a different duration. Unfortunately there is no way to change the Default Duration after the project is started. If not, bring them in in batches or rename them somehow. Hopefully the file names are numerical so that the order remains. Once the project and default duration are set, you bring all your images in at once. But, you have to figure out how long you want your time lapse to play and how many shots you have. You start by opening a new project and setting the "Project Settings" where you want and checking the Force Settings box. The needed trick is to set the "Still Image Default Duration" in the Edit > Preferences > General tab. Now I have a newer camera that does the time lapse processing in the camera. It has been a long while since I tried this so I may have forgotten some details. Now I'm trying to figure out how to put them in a timelapse. ![]() ![]()
![]() ![]() David PippinFirst recording of Rock Around the clock was 1952 by Dave Pippin in Chester PA.This time, the song surged to the top of the charts, entering the Top 40 on and hitting #1 on July 9, where it stayed for eight weeks. Haley then recorded a successful cover of the Big Joe Turner song " Shake, Rattle And Roll," and on March 25, 1955, "Rock Around The Clock" was featured in the movie Blackboard Jungle, which gave it a surge in popularity and prompted Decca to re-release the single. "Rock Around The Clock" first appeared on the charts on June 3, 1953, selling 75,000 copies and convincing Decca to pick up Haley's option. In 1954, Myers helped Haley leave Essex records and sign with Decca as part of their agreement, one side of every single Haley recorded had to be a song from Myers' catalog, and the first one they picked was "Rock Around The Clock," which was originally released as the B-side of a Dickie Thompson song called "Thirteen Women," which was about a nuclear bomb that leaves just one man and 13 women alive. Myers then placed the song with a veteran Country act called Sonny Dae and His Nights, and their version was released in 1953 to little acclaim. Haley wanted to record the song, but Dave Miller, who owned his label Essex Records, refused because of a dispute over the publishing. Peter turned his father on to “(We’re Gonna) Rock Around The Clock,” and soon enough, the song was chosen to play over the opening credits of Blackboard Jungle, which is how it became a pop sensation, selling a million copies in a single month in the spring of 1955.This was written in 1953 by a Philadelphia songwriter named named Max Freedman (who was nearly 60 years old), and by James Myers, a local musician and song publisher who published it under the name "Jimmy De-Knight." In addition to owning half the composer credit on the song, Myers had 100% of the publishing. ![]() ![]() That kid, Peter Ford, happened to be the son of actor Glenn Ford, who was slated to star in the upcoming teenage-delinquency drama Blackboard Jungle. The single sold a respectable but underwhelming 75,000 copies in the coming months, and was destined to be forgotten until a 10-year-old kid in Los Angeles flipped “Thirteen Women” and fell in love with the now-famous B-side. The finished version was judged good enough to include as the B-side on “Thirteen Women,” which was released in May 1954. Later, a Decca engineer painstakingly spliced together segments from both takes-a near-miracle given the technology of 1954. In an era before multi-track recording, the only solution was to do a second take with minimal accompaniment and hope for the best. Haley and the band had time for only two takes, and in the first, they played so loud that Haley’s vocals were almost inaudible on tape. The lead guitarist brought in for the session, Danny Cedrone, had not had time to work up a new solo for the instrumental break on “(We’re Gonna) Rock Around The Clock,” so he repurposed one he’d used on a Haley recording two years earlier called “Rock This Joint.” Cedrone was paid $31 for his work that evening, which included performing what is still recognized as one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. With time running out and no chance of extending the session, Haley and his Comets were eager to lay down the song they’d been playing live for many months to enthusiastic audience response. And if Bill Haley was not exactly the revolution’s Thomas Jefferson, it may be fair to call him its John Hancock.īill Haley put his enormous signature on rock and roll history during the final 40 minutes of a three-hour recording session in New York City-a session set up not for the recording of “(We’re Gonna) Rock Around The Clock,” but of a song called “Thirteen Women (and Only One Man in Town).” It took the group nearly all of their scheduled session to get a useable take of “Thirteen Women,” a song that was entirely new to them but was chosen as the A-side of their upcoming single by their new record label, Decca. On April 12, 1954- Bill Haley and His Comets recorded “(We’re Gonna) Rock Around The Clock.” If rock and roll was a social and cultural revolution, then “(We’re Gonna) Rock Around The Clock” was its Declaration of Independence. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ✓ Compatibilities improvement for new Windows update.
